**Job Description:**

Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join a school in Derby. This full-time position offers a competitive daily rate of £130 – £180, depending on experience and qualifications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Develop and deliver individualised education programmes for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

– Assess learner’s abilities and craft personalised learning plans.

– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

– Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the holistic development of learners.

– Utilise various pedagogical approaches and resources to engage and motivate learners to succeed.

– Monitor and record progress, providing feedback and adjusting strategies as necessary.

**Requirements:**

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

– Experience working with children with SEND.

– Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.

– Excellent communication and organizational skills.

– Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to improving the educational outcomes of students with special needs.
