A SEND school for learners with moderate learning difficulties is looking for a passionate, forward thinking teacher to join their team in Nottingham as soon as possible.

If you are an experienced teacher of SEND or a primary or secondary teacher looking to move across into Special Education I want to hear from you!

The school is SEND primary and secondary setting for children aged 4-16.

The school encourages applications from staff of all levels and have a mixed cohort of both staff and learners. The team is vibrant, multicultural and social, and encourage applications from staff offering experience with their hands on and innovative approach to learning.

Experience of PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Rapid Prompting Method and other relevant augmentative and alternative communication approaches are advantageous but not essential

Work collaboratively with both teaching and support staff to ensure best outcomes for students

Foster independence in learners and promote well-being and good welfare
