Our client is a thriving and diverse primary school located in Camberwell, South East London. The school is committed to providing an inclusive supportive and high-quality educational environment for children aged 4-11. The school has an additional resource base for pupils with SEND.

As a teacher of SEND at the school you will have an opportunity to work with a diverse group of students with differing needs.

This role will be a long-term position, with the opportunity for permanent appointment.

As a SEND Teacher you will:

  • Have well-developed knowledge of the curriculum, including phonics and reading, and proven skill in adaptive teaching.
  • Have deep and extensive knowledge and understanding of inclusive practice
  • Be motivated in raising achievement effectively from each students starting points
  • Create a safe, engaging environment that promotes exploration and growth.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and parents.
  • Uphold a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Good organisational skills.


  • Qualified Teacher Status with relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience as a Primary School Teacher.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
