SEN Teacher – Full-Time

A well‑established special school in South London is looking for a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join their team. The school supports pupils aged 7-18 with a broad range of additional needs and varying levels of ability, including complex needs. All pupils have an EHCP, and the school receives a high volume of referrals due to its exceptional reputation.

This is a highly sought‑after setting with a warm, family‑focused staff culture. Collaboration is central to their approach, and weekly staff training is offered – with agency teachers encouraged to take part – ensuring continuous growth and development.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am-4:00pm
Location: South London
Start Date: ASAP

About the School

Ideal Candidates Will Be:

  • Qualified Teachers with QTS and experience working in SEN settings.
  • Educators who are passionate about supporting learners with a range of needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs.
  • Create a safe, structured, and motivating classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure well‑rounded progress.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and meaningful development in each learner.

Requirements

  • UK‑recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with pupils with SEN.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us).
  • Two employment references covering the last 24 months.
