Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant NEEDED for a brilliant Primary School in Burton on Trent!!

About Us:
Career Teachers are a reputable supply agency dedicated to providing outstanding educational support to schools and institutions in Burton-on-Trent. Currently, we are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with children in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who have special educational needs.

Role and Responsibilities:

– Provide tailored support and assistance to children with special educational needs in EYFS settings.
– Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to the individual needs of each child.
– Collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff to implement personalized learning strategies.
– Monitor and track progress, adapting interventions as necessary to promote academic and social development.
– Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers, providing updates on student progress and achievements.

Requirements:

– Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, preferably in EYFS settings.
– Strong understanding of various special educational needs and effective strategies for supporting children with diverse needs.
– Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools).
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the role and the students.

Pay Range:
£83.87 – £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
