Location: North Derbyshire
Start Date: 8th September 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 – 15:30
Daily Rate: £90 – £115.98 (dependent on experience)
Duration: Full Academic Year

Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in North Derbyshire. This is a full-time role supporting a non-verbal Year 1 pupil with complex needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the child’s educational journey, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Extensive experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Experience supporting non-verbal pupils and using alternative communication methods
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable but not essential)
