SEND Teaching Assistant

Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND teaching assistant to join our agency and work full-time within a welcoming primary school in South Derbyshire.

This rewarding role involved providing 1:1 support for a child in Year 4 with Down’s Syndrome, helping them to thrive and progress in line with their EHCP. You will play a vital role in supporting their learning, development. and overall well-being within the classroom environment.

• Experience working with children with SEND, particularly Down’s Syndrome (desired)
• A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to supporting inclusive education
