SEND Teaching Assistant

All Ages | Complex Needs Experience Required

We are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants who are open to working with children and young people of all ages, supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND, including PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties)
  • Providing 1:1 and small‑group support
  • Assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily routines where required
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support learning, communication, and wellbeing
  • Creating a safe, calm, and inclusive environment for pupils

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • Confidence supporting pupils with complex needs, including personal care
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
  • Relevant experience in schools, SEN schools, colleges, or care settings (desirable)
