SEN Teaching assistant – Waltham Forest

As an SEN Teaching Assistant at one of our beautiful school’s in Waltham Forest, you will support the delivery of engaging and tailored lessons for students with special educational needs. Your role will be crucial in fostering a positive learning atmosphere that promotes academic success, critical thinking, and personal development.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience working with children
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
  • Classroom experience
  • Ability to support students with diverse learning needs
  • Proactive, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience of working with children
  • Experience of working with children with SEN or Speech & Language difficulties
  • Aspiring Speech & Language therapist
  • Engaging and upbeat personality
  • Passion to work with children
  • Confident and reliable
