Are you a dedicated and experienced SENCO looking for a new challenge?

As SENCO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the school provides the highest quality of education for all our students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work closely with the teachers and support staff to identify and support children who require additional assistance, and you will develop and implement strategies to enable them to achieve their full potential.

The school are part of a wider trust which includes special schools so a network of SEND professionals is available. The school put huge importance on relationships with parents and carers and therefore the SENCO must be used to supporting families with children with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record as a SENCO with experience of working with children with SEN, and will have a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including parents, outside agencies and other professionals.
