Career Teachers have an exciting opportunity for a SEN specialist to join a wonderful team in Mansfield as a Full-time Site Lead Teacher to implement an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for learners through individual and small group delivery.

Your Purpose:

To work collaboratively and holistically to deliver an education provision which is unique to each learner that gives them the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. To be flexible and innovative with their planning and delivery of a curriculum. To implement an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for learners through individual and small group delivery. To monitor and support the overall progress and development of learners on the identified site/sites as a lead teacher.

To raise the standards of learner attainment by encouraging a learning experience which provides learners with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
  • Proven experience of supporting children, young people or vulnerable adults with additional needs.
  • Holds a minimum Level 6 qualification in a relevant curriculum area.
  • Evidence of previous curriculum-specific CPD.


  • Full driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.
  • Understand the importance of adhering to the organisation’s policies, procedures and practices.
  • Be committed to delivering holistic family interventions.
