**Role Overview:**

We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant in this specialised provision, you will play a crucial role in supporting autistic students, helping them achieve their full potential. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our students.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Provide one-on-one and small group support to autistic students.

– Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).

– Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

– Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver tailored educational and developmental programs.

– Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.

– Support students in developing social, communication, and life skills.

– Assist with classroom management and organisation.

– Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

– Experience working with autistic children or young adults is highly desirable.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

– Knowledge of autism and related strategies/interventions is an advantage.
