Are you passionate about education and looking to make a difference in the classroom without the planning or marking responsibilities? Our leading education agency is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in our partner secondary schools across the region.

🏫 About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting students in the absence of their regular teacher. You’ll be delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects, maintaining classroom order, and ensuring students stay engaged and on task.

✅ Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure a positive learning atmosphere
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to the absent teacher and/or Cover Manager

🎓 Requirements

• Previous experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, tutoring, coaching, or youth work)
• A confident and proactive approach to classroom management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to travel between schools (desirable)
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
