Join our dynamic team at a leading supply agency dedicated to supporting schools and educational institutions in Burton-on-Trent. We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant and Primary Teachers to provide personalised support to children from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 2.

Role Description:

– Deliver engaging and effective teaching and support across various primary year groups, covering classes in the absence of the regular class teacher.
– Customise lesson plans and instructional materials to cater to the diverse learning needs of students and maintain continuity in their education.
– Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation, creativity, and academic success.
– Collaborate closely with school staff to follow existing lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and provide constructive feedback on student performance.
– Uphold high standards of student safety, well-being, and safeguarding in line with school policies and procedures.
– Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student achievements and challenges.
– Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting support methods as needed to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

– Previous experience as a TA or Primary Teacher with experience from EYFS – KS2 classes.
– Profound understanding of various special educational needs and effective intervention techniques.
– Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support, such as CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
– Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of students and the demands of the role.
