Support Worker

Starting ASAP, this exciting opportunity for a proactive, caring and energetic Support Worker with Autism and behavioural management experience to join the team at an SEND school in the London Borough of Hounslow.

You will be combining your knowledge of learning support and behaviour management techniques with your compassion and understanding of learning needs and, in some cases, difficulties to support pupils in their time at the centre.

As this is quite a challenging role at times the ideal candidate will need to be ;

· Positive and motivational.

· Supportive and understanding.

· Trustworthy and ethical.

· Assertive and confident.

· Flexible and resourceful.

Although not essential for you to undertake this role, it would be great if the desired candidate had any of the following

· Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

· Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

· Level 3 Certificate Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

· Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools

As you can appreciate, previous support experience with children with additional needs and ideally having a fluent level of English, both spoken and written would be needed for this role.
