Join our team at Career Teachers and work as a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) teacher at our partnership schools in Wakefield. Starting as soon as possible, you’ll work alongside dedicated educators, engaging with pupils and shaping the next generation.
Our partnership school’s care for and nurture pupils with moderate learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, SEMH, ADHD, PMLD, hearing impairment and visual impairment. We work with schools in both Primary and Secondary settings, so the children’s age ranges from 3-18 years old.
We are looking for teachers with expertise in teaching methods, effective communication, and the ability to engage with and nurture their pupils. The ideal candidates will be dedicated to creating ideal learning conditions, creating a safe and positive environment for children, and using creative methods to ignite engagement. Positive, empathetic, and compassionate traits are essential.
