Job Title: Lead Teacher

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £33,000 – £37,000

Hours: 37.5

Weeks: 39 Working Weeks (Term-time only)

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Holiday Entitlement: In addition to your holiday entitlement and paid bank holidays, you will be offered 5 days paid dependency leave a year.

Career Teachers are seeking a specialist teacher to join a supportive and inclusive Alternative Provision.

Role Description:

  • This teacher will work collaboratively and holistically to deliver an education provision which is unique to each learner that gives them the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • This teacher will be a flexible and innovative teacher through planning and delivery of a curriculum.
  • This teacher will implement an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for learners with special educational needs through individual and small group teaching and learning.
  • This teacher will monitor and support the overall progress and development of learners on the identified site/sites as a lead teacher.

Key Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification combined with SEN experience supporting children and young people or vulnerable adults.
  • UK Driving Licence and access to a road worthy vehicle.
