We are seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Music to join our school on a permanent basis from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to inspire creativity and musical excellence across the school.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality Music lessons across the curriculum
• Inspire pupils to develop confidence, creativity, and technical musical skills
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities such as choirs, ensembles, or performances
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student progress

This role is suitable for experienced teachers, early career teachers, or strong non‑QTS applicants with relevant experience.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong subject knowledge and passion for Music education
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities
• Commitment to inclusive, high‑expectation teaching
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential, but you must have experience teaching Music from KS3-KS5
• Experience teaching Music within a school or similar educational setting

Salary

• Outer London pay scale: MPS1 – UPS3
• Salary will be commensurate with experience
