Are you motivated by the chance to make a profound difference in a student’s life? Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism and additional learning needs in a specialist educational setting in Leeds. This role is initially temporary, but with a strong likelihood of progressing to a permanent contract for the right person.

🧩 Your Role

You’ll work closely with one student, providing tailored educational and emotional support to help them access learning and thrive throughout the school day. You’ll be a key figure in building trust and structure in their routine, and will collaborate closely with the wider SEN team.

The student may present with:

• Autism Spectrum Condition
• ADHD
• Communication and sensory processing needs
• Emotional or behavioural challenges
