We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a position with a Primary School in Lambeth.
This role will see you providing support to a child in their Year 6 class, who has Autism and Epilepsy. You will be working closely with the Class Teacher and the SENDCO, to ensure that the child is well supported and looked after, and has the best opportunity to access their learning.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible and able to adapt in line with the needs of the child on each day. You will form a good relationship with the child, and become an important part of their learning.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The right person for this role will ideally have some prior experience of working with children who have Autism. You will be committed to safeguarding and ensuring that children are well looked after.
