Career Teachers are actively looking for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a school in Leeds. This role is ideal for individuals keen on providing additional support to students in the classroom.

While qualifications are desirable, they are not essential for this highly rewarding SEN teaching assistant position that demands patience and understanding of specific needs.

We are currently seeking passionate individuals for roles in 1:1 support, general classroom support, and SEN support, both for immediate starts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working on a 1-2-1 basis with children with SEN to support their learning and development
  • Assisting children in learning both inside and outside the classroom
  • Providing support to children on a whole-class basis
