Full-Time Teaching Assistant Needed, September Start!!

Location: Key Stage 1 Class
Duration: September 2024 – End of Academic Year
Pay: £84 – £100 per day

About the Role:

Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a Key Stage 1 class. This full-time position starts in September 2024 and continues until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

– Provide individualised support to a child with ASD.
– Assist in classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning environment.
– Work with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
– Monitor and report on the child’s progress.
– Support the child’s social and behavioural development.

Requirements:

– Experience working with children with special educational needs, especially ASD.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships.
– Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (preferred).
