We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant, on behalf of a mainstream Primary School in South East London.

The position is available to start in September 2024, and will continue ongoing until the end of the academic year, in July 2025.

  • Teaching Assistant
  • Working Monday to Friday (during term time)
  • Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm

This Primary School is based within the Greenwich Borough, close to Eltham. There are good transport links, and free parking available.

The role will see you providing one on one support to a child within the school who has some additional needs. You will be working closely with the child to support them with their education and to ensure they are able to access learning.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have a calm and patient approach
  • Be good at forming relationships (with the child, parents/carers and Teacher)
  • Have some previous experience of supporting children who have additional needs
  • Be committed to the role until at least July 2025, as disruption can be challenging for the child
