Teaching Assistant

Career Teachers are working with a fantastic school within Derbyshire. We are looking to appoint a 1:1 teaching assistant who has experience working with Special Educational Needs.

This role is to start September 2024 and will continue until July 2025. You will be required to work Monday-Friday, 08:30-15:30.

With this role, you will be supporting 1:1 with a child in Year 3. To be successful in this role, you must have experience working with Special Educational Needs and be able to adapt to the child’s needs.

To be considered for this particular role you will need to: –

• Hold a valid & recognised level 3 childcare qualification
• Have recent experience supporting Key Stage 1 children
• Have recent experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Be genuinely committed to enhancing the educational and personal development of the child you are supporting
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain a new one
• References covering the last 2 years
