Pay Rate: £100+ per day

Contract: Full-time, long-term or Part-time / Daily Supply Cover Roles
Location: Tower Hamlets and surrounding boroughs

Career Teachers is working with a welcoming secondary school in Tower Hamlets seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping them achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to teachers and students
• Assist with lesson preparation and resource organisation
• Support individual students, including those with additional needs
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Contribute to the wider school community

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a school setting (secondary preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Understanding of safeguarding principles
• A genuine passion for supporting young people
