SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Greenwich

Career Teachers are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Greenwich borough. This is a full‑time, long‑term role supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), starting immediately.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with Autism in both classroom and 1:1 settings

• Implement strategies to promote engagement, communication and emotional regulation

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support

• Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Use your initiative to adapt activities and resources to meet individual needs

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as an SEN TA or Learning Support Assistant

• Strong understanding of Autism and effective support strategies

• A calm, patient and proactive approach

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Availability to start ASAP
