Join Career Teachers today to work within a dynamic team at a primary school located in Burton-on-Trent, where they are committed to providing exceptional educational support to all students. We are currently seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs in KS2.

Location: Burton-on-Trent, Primary School
Role: Full-time, 1:1 Support for Child with Special Educational Needs
Duration: April 8th – July 19th
Pay Rate: £84-£100 per day

Responsibilities:

– Deliver personalised support and assistance to a student with special educational needs
– Implement individualised education plans and behaviour management strategies
– Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
– Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet the specific needs of the student
– Maintain accurate records of student progress and development

Requirements:

– Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a primary school environment
– Sound understanding of special educational needs and experience implementing appropriate support strategies
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
– Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools)
