Career Teachers is recruiting for a confident Year 5 Teacher to join the team at a lovely Primary School in South Wakefield.

The role requires full classroom teaching responsibilities and runs from 08 January until the end of the academic year to cover a long-term sickness absence. The school is easily accessible from the M1, Barnsley and Huddersfield and can be reached on public transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities.
