Exciting Opportunity for a Secondary Teaching Assistant
Career Teachers are looking to recruit experienced and passionate Teaching Assistants to work within a cluster of mainstream Secondary Schools in the Tamworth area.
We are extremely busy with requests from our schools with the flexibility of working around your commitments as we offer daily cover as well as long-term and permanent contracts.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience supporting students in a secondary school on a 1:1, small group, or whole classroom basis. Familiarity with the national Key Stage 3 and 4 Curriculum, an understanding of child development and learning, excellent communication skills, adaptability, empathy, and dedication to promoting equal opportunities are the key qualities we seek in a TA. The school and Career Teachers are committed to promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
You will be supporting students aged 11 to 16 years (Key Stage 3 and 4).
