SEND Teacher – Redbridge

  • The ideal SEN Teacher for this position will be able to develop lessons plans that promote student growth and independency
  • The SEN Teacher for this school will be able to collaborate with colleagues to monitor growth and progress of each student
  • The SEN Teacher for this position needs to be able to support students from all backgrounds

About the School:-

We are a large, inclusive primary special school for almost 200 pupils with complex needs. We offer an ambitious curriculum and enriching learning experiences for all of our children aimed at systematically developing their knowledge, skills and understanding of themselves and the world around them. Alongside this we also plan for learning and development of individual pupils’ EHCP goals and their communication, social interaction and emotional regulation skills.

Qualifications/Experience

  • This SEN Teacher role requires QTS or equivalent qualification combined with SEN experience.
  • For this SEN Teacher role you would be required to have experience teaching primary and/or secondary aged students with moderate to complex needs
  • For this SEN role you will need to be able to identify pupil needs and adapt activities to their level of comprehension
