A primary school in Leeds are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join their team from January 2026. This role is ideal for someone confident in supporting children with SEMH and behaviour-related needs.
Your responsibilities:
- Working 1:1 with pupils who require emotional and behavioural support
- Implementing positive behaviour strategies
- Supporting de-escalation and emotional regulation
- Liaising with the SENCO, pastoral team and class teachers
- Helping pupils re-engage with learning
You will need:
- Experience supporting SEMH or challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and resilience
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
