Career Teachers are working in partnership with Sheffield South East Trust to recruit a School Business Manager for Wybourn Community Primary & Nursery School. This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate to join a supportive and forward-thinking trust.

📌 About the Role
This is a key leadership role within the school, responsible for the strategic and operational management of all support services. You will play a vital role in ensuring the school runs efficiently, enabling staff to focus on delivering excellent outcomes for pupils.

You will lead and manage a range of services, including:
💼 Finance
🗂️ Administration
👥 HR
🏗️ Facilities & Site Management
💻 ICT
⚠️ Health & Safety
✅ Key Responsibilities

✔️Lead and manage multiple support service teams, ensuring high performance and clear direction
✔️Oversee financial management, including budgeting, monitoring expenditure and reporting
✔️Ensure administrative systems are efficient, compliant and effective
✔️Manage HR processes, including safer recruitment and compliance with legislation
✔️Oversee site management, facilities and external contracts to ensure safety and value for money
✔️Act as Health & Safety lead, maintaining robust policies, procedures and risk assessments
✔️Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support strategic planning and school improvement
✔️Support ICT and MIS functions to ensure systems effectively support teaching and learning

👤 About You
We are looking for a proactive, organised and solutions-focused individual who:
Has experience managing multiple teams and functions (ideally within education)
Demonstrates strong financial management skills
Has excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Has knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance
Can work independently, manage priorities and make sound decisions
