About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Computer Science Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Wandsworth. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across KS3-KS5, delivering a high-quality curriculum that develops computational thinking, programming skills, and digital literacy.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will be supported by a strong department and a forward-thinking leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and (ideally) 5
  • Teach topics including programming (e.g. Python), algorithms, data representation, and systems
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science examinations
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities (e.g. coding clubs, STEM initiatives)
  • Uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for technology and education
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
  • A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching

Desirable

  • Experience teaching A-Level Computer Science
  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages
  • Interest in extracurricular STEM activities
