About Us

Career Teachers is a specialist education recruitment agency working closely with a wide network of secondary schools across East London. Due to increasing demand from our partner schools, we are looking to expand our pool of reliable and motivated Cover Supervisors.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task and complete the work set. You will maintain positive classroom behaviour in line with school policies and contribute to a calm, focused learning environment.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking valuable classroom experience, particularly those considering a future career in teaching or education.

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to hear from candidates who:

• Have a genuine interest in working in secondary education
• Are confident managing classroom behaviour
• Are proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive of pupils’ learning
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
• Hold an Enhanced DBS (or are willing to obtain one)
