About the Role
In this varied position, you will work across the primary phase, covering lessons and supporting teaching and learning from EYFS through to Year 6. The role requires flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach to support pupils and staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Provide high-quality support for teaching and learning across all year groups
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms, age groups, and subjects
- Support pupil engagement, behaviour and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working in a primary school setting
- Be confident leading whole classes independently
- Demonstrate excellent adaptability and a positive, flexible attitude
- Have strong behaviour management skills
- Be committed to supporting all pupils to achieve their best
