A welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Yorkshire is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from October 2025.
This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children across KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience. The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with pupils and contribute to a safe, happy learning environment.
Main duties will include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Working 1:1 or with small groups of children to support learning
- Helping pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects
- Supporting positive behaviour management and pupil wellbeing
- Assisting with classroom preparation and displays
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
- Be enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work as part of a team
- Have good communication skills and a patient approach
- Be committed to supporting all pupils, including those with additional needs
