Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day depending on experience
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day‑to‑day or Long‑term | Part‑time or Full‑time

Career Teachers is recruiting a Geography Teacher to work in secondary schools across Sheffield S11, S35, and S13. This role suits a teacher who can deliver clear, structured Geography lessons that build strong knowledge of physical and human geography, map skills, and analytical thinking.

The successful candidate will create a positive learning environment, support students with fieldwork skills, and deliver lessons that develop curiosity, evaluation, and understanding of global issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Geography lessons in line with curriculum requirements
• Support students in developing map skills, enquiry skills, and geographical understanding
• Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and active engagement
• Maintain a positive and well‑managed classroom environment
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and confident behaviour management
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
