ICT Teacher – Sheffield

Career Teachers are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher to work within a secondary school in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join a supportive school environment and deliver engaging ICT and Computing lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role is suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking a rewarding position within secondary education.

The Role

As an ICT Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging ICT and Computing lessons that inspire student learning.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes achievement and progress.
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching ICT, Computing, or Computer Science within a secondary setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for education and raising student attainment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
