Job Type: Part-Time (10am – 2pm) – 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday)
Job Description: Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant for a Specialist School in Waltham Forest. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals, maintain a clean and organised kitchen, and ensure all food hygiene standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals.
- Serve food to students and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow all food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergy Certificate.
- Previous experience in a school kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude
