An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Maths Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Trafford on a temporary basis. This role requires an immediate start and will run until Christmas, with the potential for an extension or even a permanent position for the right candidate. We are looking for an inspiring Maths Teacher who can engage students and make a real difference in their educational journey.

Key responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging maths lessons across the curriculum, adapting materials to suit all ability levels
  • Monitor and support student’s progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment and uphold the school’s standards and values
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment conducive to learning

Requirements:

  • PGCE and QTS with a background in teaching maths at secondary level
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to driving student success
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to engage students and foster a positive learning environment
