Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11, S35, S13)
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day depending on experience
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day‑to‑day or Long‑term | Part‑time or Full‑time

Career Teachers is recruiting a Maths Teacher to work in secondary schools across Sheffield S11, S35, and S13. This role suits a teacher who can deliver structured, clear, and engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages, helping pupils build strong numeracy, problem‑solving, and reasoning skills.

The successful candidate will maintain a positive classroom environment, support students through varied mathematical topics, and deliver lessons that build confidence and independent thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Maths lessons in line with the curriculum
• Support pupils with numeracy, problem‑solving, and exam preparation
• Encourage logical thinking, accuracy, and engagement
• Maintain a calm, well‑managed classroom environment
• Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and confident behaviour management
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
