Pay Scale: £90 – £100 per day

1 full-time role and 1 part-time role available

Career Teachers are recruiting passionate and Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants to work in a Nursery School in the Wakefield Education Authority.

This dual site Nursery School is graded outstanding by OFSTED and is located in the heart of Wakefield. The team are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development and preparing them for their educational journey.

Career Teachers are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Qualified TAs/Nursery Practitioners to join their team. Starting in September and running until the end of the academic year, the school has openings for both full-time and part-time positions.

The successful candidates will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to delivering high-quality care and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Support the physical, emotional, and social development of children
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development
• Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
