Pay Rate: £120 – £200 per day (dependent on experience)

Career Teachers are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3/4 Teacher for a welcoming Ofsted-rated “Good” primary school in the DN5 area of Doncaster. This is a full-time, long-term position covering a maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a key transition period for Year 3/4 pupils.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Year 3/4 curriculum
• Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary education
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and staff

✅ Requirements / Skills

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in lower Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3/4
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive, flexible, and professional approach
• Passion for supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
