Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Psychology and Sociology to join a thriving secondary school in Greenwich from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and ambitious department committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

The Role

  • Teach Psychology and Sociology across Key Stage 5.
  • Deliver engaging, challenging, and evidence-based lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor, assess, and support student progress through effective feedback and intervention.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the curriculum and enrichment opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Psychology and Sociology at KS5.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the social sciences.
  • Is committed to raising achievement and promoting positive outcomes for all students.
  • Possesses strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
