They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-level depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and encourage student’s curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have a PGCE and QTS or QTLS
  • Have a Science specific degree
  • Have right to work in the UK
  • Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Science
  • Be passionate about education and inspiring young learners
