Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day depending on experience
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day‑to‑day or Long‑term | Part‑time or Full‑time

Career Teachers is recruiting a Science Teacher to work in secondary schools across Sheffield S11, S35, and S13. This role suits a teacher who can deliver clear, structured Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The successful candidate will support students in developing strong practical skills, scientific understanding, and confidence in applying key concepts in class and in exam preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Science lessons in line with curriculum requirements
• Support students across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics topics
• Encourage enquiry, practical investigation, and critical thinking
• Maintain a positive and well‑managed classroom environment
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and confident behaviour management
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
