We are recruiting for a caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 in KS2 at a primary school in Bradford.
This role starts in November 2025 and will be full-time, providing consistent support for a pupil’s academic and social development.
Responsibilities include:
- Working 1:1 with a KS2 pupil
- Supporting the pupil with communication and learning tasks
- Using visual timetables and structured strategies to promote independence
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
- Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher to track progress
Ideal candidate:
- Previous SEN or care experience
- Knowledge of Autism strategies (PECS, visuals, desirable)
- Patient, calm and empathetic
- Able to build consistent routines and trust with pupils
