The Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will have the incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with a wide range of needs. Your role will involve working within four broad categories of need:
While experience or training in Special Educational Needs or healthcare would be beneficial, it is not essential. What matters most is your kind-hearted nature, patience, and willingness to think creatively to unlock each child’s potential and love for learning.
You will work closely with class teachers and, in some cases, external therapy teams to support students in achieving their individual goals. This is a hands-on role where adaptability, motivation, and a proactive approach are key.
