Nursery School is looking for enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children at a crucial stage in their development within a warm and inclusive environment.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children with SEN needs, including ASD, MLD, and related needs
  • Level 2 or 3 in childcare, (desirable)
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups in a nursery setting
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Support learning through play-based activities
  • Encourage children’s social, emotional, and communication skills
  • Work closely with staff and families to support each child’s development

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with SEN, particularly ASD and/or MLD
  • A strong understanding of early years development and play-based learning
  • A patient, caring, and nurturing approach
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for helping young children thrive
