Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for a part time opportunity with a mainstream Primary School.

You will be providing support to 2 children from the Year 3 class. Both children have Autism, but are able to access the mainstream curriculum.

The Role:

• Working 3 days per week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Providing support to 2 children
• Working closely with the Class Teacher, SENCO and parents to ensure the best support and learning for the children
• Starting in September 2025, on an ongoing basis
• Paid between £88 and £110 per day

This Primary School is based in the Greenwich borough, close to Thamesmead. There are good public transport links, and staff parking available.

We are looking for a TA/LSA with experience of supporting children who have SEND, in a school setting. Ideally, you will have worked with children who have Autism.

You will also need to hold an Enhanced DBS, or be willing to apply for one.
